A fearful weekend
Last weekend my friends and I noticed that in the wood an abandoned mansion was rented to celebrate Halloween away from the hubbub of the city. So we decided to rent it and pass a "scary halloween". We were all excited at the idea and then we prepared everything necessary: torches, boxcutters, sleeping bags and we also had a small map of the house because it is very big. After Receiving the keys of the house, we immediately jumped in and visit it to organize activities. In the evening, after eating, while we were preparing a small treasure hunt to curry out in the surrounding wood, we heard some strange noises coming from the attic. We went and check but there was nobody. Return to the ground floor, we started to see a scary movie, called "Scream", but we heard the same noises and we started to be scared. Therefore we decided to check the whole house and be sure that there is no others, then we divided into two groups. My group had the map of the house but it was useless because, as by magic, it appeared and disappeared without notice. So we were very scared. The other group wandered througt the rooms without seeing anything but after a while, they heard the noises again and they saw a white figure (probably it was a ghost) walking in front of them. Like young children, they started to cry and left the "haunted" house. My group reached the others in the woods and there we started to see the lights of room were light up without human intervention. So we decided to walk in the woods, but also there we heard the howling of a wolf that wasn't very far from us. Therefore we started to run away but unfortunately a friend of mine fell and sprained his ankle. Then I helped him to walk while the others found the right way to return to the house. When we reached it, everything had calmed down and in the meantime we called our parents because we went back in town. After one hour they arrived and we went to our homes safely.
